About Us

The Broughton Arms is situated alongside a popular stretch of the Trent and Mersey Canal, popular with boaters and walkers, not far from Stoke-on-Trent. Our traditional family friendly pub is open to all and has an extensive food menu and specials board. We have a spacious patio area so you can have a drink canal side whilst gazing out over the picturesque village fields.   • Piri Piri Chicken Wings

    BBQ chicken wings served with a spicy Piri Piri sauce and cool sour cream and chive dip.
  • Goat’s Cheese and Caramelised Onion Bruschetta (v)

    Toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with oil and topped with melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions.

  • Chicken BBQ Melt

    A butterfly chicken breast, grilled and chopped with bacon, BBQ sauce and melted cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a side salad.
  • Pedigree Beer Battered Fish & Chips

    Battered in-house with our famous Pedigree beer batter. Served with chips and your choice of mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce.
  • Wexford Cheddar & Chutney Tart (v)

    A shortcrust pastry base filled with Wexford Cheddar cheese sauce, cherry tomatoes and chutney. Served with new potatoes and side salad.

  • Chocolate Melt in the Middle

    For all the chocolate lovers out there? An individual chocolate cake with a melting chocolate heart.
  • Bramley Apple Pie

    Slices of Bramley apples in a sweet shortcrust pastry, dusted with sugar. Served with a choice of custard, cream or ice cream.
